![]() It doesn't directly explain it in the game, as far as I can tell, but I sort of figured it had something to do with the portal he built underground. I wondered about how we arrived at Quern. I can't decide if that indicates we missed something or not :)ฤก. (My whole post is full of spoilers, fair warning!) Then as part of the automated process, some sort of device would be sent through to serve as a signal that the calculations are done and the two-way portal is repaired. He could even have wired the computer to the one-way portal so that it would open automatically once the calculations are finished. I mean, why didn't he simply automate that, and in doing so eliminate the need for us to be there at all, as well as the possibility that we may choose not to comply? Finally, why did the professor needed us to retrieve the calculation results and move them like 3 meters to the repair cart, along with the green crystal fragment? Why can't Gamana bother Maythorn in the underwater area? Are you guys saying she achieved the incredible feat of transcending matter and ascending into an energy based lifeform, and yet she can't go into water? Why exactly is Quern hard to find? And why wouldn't Maythorn be able to retrace his steps and find it that way? If Maythorn disassembled the ancient portal, how did we reach the island? Can the Quern portal accept incoming connections even without most of the green crystals? ![]() First of all, are there only 20 letters? At the end of my playthrough there are 21 letter spaces in the letters area.
